Our short stay in Krabi was marred by rain and gloomy weather, but there were interesting things to do and see anyways.
Krabi town is small. There were many internet cafes, regular cafes, bakeries (the baked goods were excellent), restaurants, and street vendors. There's even a mall and a Dairy Queen -- except it's all in Thai.
One of Krabi's exports is rubber. I visited a rubber farm where I learned about the process of making natural rubber.
We went on a one-day trip to various islands on a speed boat.
Not far from the town is a fossilized sea shell site, and a beautiful National Park.
The stay was definitely too short.
