Ayutthaya is the old capital of central Thailand. Today, live temples and ancient ruins litter the landscape.
Upon arrival by regular van, we rented a Song Taow (two benched vehicle) for a day and provided the driver with a list of places to visit.
We saw many temples. I can't remember them all, but here are some nice pictures.
There was a big Buddah.
Buddah images were everywhere.
Climbing to the future?
A structure, seen from below and above.
I am helping to support the old structures, some of which have literally sunken into the ground.
On our way back, we encountered an elephant place. Here's a baby drinking from a hose.
